The story
The building went up in 1828 as a shipping warehouse on the Delaware riverfront and later housed a hardware store and a coffee house. In 1989 the Sena family began converting it into a hotel, which opened in the 1990s with 27 rooms and grew to 49 rooms and two suites. Its Ristorante Panorama was recognized by Guinness World Records (measured January 19, 2010) for the largest custom-built winekeeper, with 120 taps.
