The story
The site was bought in 1888 by future Atlanta mayor John T. Glenn. The George A. Fuller Company commissioned the ten-story Glenn Building to coincide with the 1923 opening of the Spring Street viaduct, and Washington, D.C. architect Waddy B. Wood designed it. For decades it housed offices for local businesses and branch offices of national companies. Legacy Property Group redeveloped it from 2006, and it reopened as the Glenn Hotel, which the hotel calls the first boutique hotel in downtown Atlanta.
