The story
Built in 1897 as two Victorian cottages for sea captains Samuel House and N. B. Sison at 546 and 548 East President Street; the inn says 1898 insurance maps record the new construction. Tenants lived in the cottages through much of the mid-to-late 1900s. A 1998 restoration joined the two cottages into one building, which opened as a family-owned bed and breakfast steps from Greene Square. Wikipedia’s list of Savannah Historic District buildings calls it the Mary Cullum Property.
