The story
The 15-story building was constructed in 1926 and originally served as the City Hall Annex, a government facility. Its conversion kept original features such as the bronze revolving door at the entrance and added new marble floors and millwork. It now operates as The Notary Hotel in Marriott’s Autograph Collection, with a La Colombe cafe and the Spanish tapas restaurant Sabroso+Sorbo, one block from the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
