The story
L. C. Johnson built the Commercial Hotel about 1925 on the northeast corner of Mountain View’s courthouse square to serve travelers. It is one of two surviving 1920s hotels in town, with a one-story wraparound porch on stone piers. As the Wildflower B&B it keeps eight rooms in the original building, each with a private bath added during remodeling, plus two newer ADA cottages.
