The story

The Anna Louise Inn opened in 1909 as a residential hotel for women coming from rural communities to work in Cincinnati. After the inn moved to Mount Auburn, Western & Southern converted it and the neighboring 1919 Earl Building into one hotel, joined by a glass-roofed atrium lobby. The guest rooms and rooftop bar are in the former Anna Louise Inn, whose original facade is now the guest-room entrance. The hotel, Cincinnati’s first Autograph Collection property, opened in June 2020 after a pandemic delay.
