The story
The Joslin farm’s c.1860 Greek Revival farmhouse is joined by a 12-sided dairy barn that Clem Joslyn built in 1910, the only survivor of five round barns once in Waitsfield. The barn served as a dairy until 1969. Jack and Doreen Simko bought the farm in 1986, rehabilitated the farmhouse in 1986-87 and restored the barn between 1988 and 1990. Four rooms were added in 1992 in the horse-barn section of the extended farmhouse, and the Abbott Suite in 1999.
