The story

Cormick E. Boyce, credited as Williams’ pioneer merchant, built the two-story brick hotel in 1891 and opened it as the Boyce Hotel in January 1892. It stands on the Route 66 corridor inside the Williams Historic Business District, which was listed on the National Register in 1984. The hotel now runs small-group ghost tours alongside its rooms and ballroom.

The ghost story

The hotel's ghost-tour page says guests and staff report a Victorian girl who loves Room 13, a giggling child in the halls, and an old doctor still making his rounds with a medical bag.
