The story
James W. Maney, a railroad contractor and early Oklahoma City civic leader, built the three-story Victorian house in 1904 and moved it to its present lot in 1909. The family lived there until 1945; Catholic Charities and a boarding house operator followed. Bill Bleakley bought it in 1979 to save it from demolition, and it held law offices and the Oklahoma Gazette before Bob and Claudia Wright opened the B&B in January 1997.
