The story
The inn, long known as the 200 South Street Inn, occupies two restored houses: a three-story brick Main House and a Cottage. It operated as an inn from 1986 and was run by Brendan Clancy from 1991. An LLC bought the property for $3.46 million in December 2024, and Stay Charlottesville took over operations and closed it for renovation in early 2025, adding an outdoor pool.
