The story
The three-story brick building was built around 1914 as Rocheport’s four-room public school for grades one through twelve. Elementary classes used it until 1972, when the district merged with New Franklin. New owners bought it in 1986 and, after 15 months of renovation, opened it in April 1988 as a bed and breakfast with eleven guest rooms near the Katy Trail.
