The story
Business partners Don and John Anselmi, Mike Vase and Vernon Delgado built the Outlaw Inn in 1965-66 to catch traffic on the newly finished Interstate 80 at its junction with U.S. 191, a main route to Grand Teton and Yellowstone. Its 100 rooms are split between 67 ‘courtside’ rooms around an indoor atrium and 33 drive-up rooms. The National Register listed it in 2018 as a well-preserved mid-century motor inn.
