The story

Salem native Bob Shea owns and runs the inn, which says it is celebrating 30 years (site updated August 2025), in a restored Georgian-Federal house on a quiet dead-end street across from the House of the Seven Gables. Rooms are named for women accused in the 1692 witch trials, among them the Rebecca Nurse Room and the Sarah Good Suite. MACRIS records the house as built in 1825; the inn says circa 1808.
