The story
The hotel occupies a c. 1900 seven-story commercial building on the River Walk that Omni identifies as the former L. Frank Saddlery Building. Omni’s 2018 renovation of the lobby and meeting rooms drew on the saddlery history, with carpets patterned on rope, saddles and stirrups and a commissioned saddle sculpture. It houses the 17,000-square-foot Mokara Spa.
