The story
The house was built in 1849 as the private home of the Galieses family and was converted to a hotel in the last century. It has 14 rooms, many with private balconies, plus shared balconies overlooking Bourbon Street. The former Lafitte Guest House now trades as Lafitte Hotel & Bar; its old domain redirects to the new site.
