The story
The Civilian Conservation Corps built Greenbrier State Forest’s first rental cabins, round-log buildings with saddle notching and stone chimneys and foundations. The four surviving CCC cabins (Nos. 4-7) sit on a gravel loop off Harts Run Road; Cabins 4 and 5 sleep four and Cabins 6 and 7 sleep two. The state rents them with ten later cabins.
