The story
Wealthy local citizen John S. Jones built the stone and half-timbered inn on the former site of the Granville Female College. Columbus architect Frank Packard designed it, with a ‘Great Hall’ for the lobby and restaurant and guest rooms above and at the rear. It stands across East Broadway from the Buxton Inn and just below the Denison University campus.
