The story

Welsh shipbuilder Richard Owen Williams built the house in 1879 as two residences, a half block from City Dock beside the Naval Academy’s Gate 1. It has operated as a bed and breakfast for more than 20 years (Visit Annapolis, 2020). It was restored as a six-room inn whose design keeps the original architectural features, with one suite in the detached carriage house.
