The story
Walker and Weeks, who also designed the Cleveland Public Library, built the six-story sandstone Board of Education Administration Building on the Mall in 1930. Its two-story lobby holds two restored murals painted by Cora Holden in 1931. Drury Hotels began restoring the building in 2014 and runs it as a 189-room hotel, with a bar called the Teachers’ Lounge.
