The story

Promoters built the nine-story Lithia Springs Hotel to draw tourists to the Rogue Valley, and it opened on July 1, 1925 with a dinner for 500 guests. It was billed as the tallest building between Portland and San Francisco. Renamed the Mark Antony Motor Hotel in 1961, it was later restored under the National Park Service’s certified rehabilitation program and now has 70 rooms.
