The story
The Osler Building went up in stages from 1928 as a medical office building in Midtown Oklahoma City, designed by the local firm of Hawk and Parr; the entry surround carries the medical caduceus. It was vacant when it was nominated to the National Register. Coury’s Ambassador Hotel Collection renovated it for about $14 million and opened a 54-room hotel on March 19, 2014, and it now operates in Marriott’s Autograph Collection.
