The story

The rubble-stone cottages were built in the late 1930s as a tourist court for motorists traveling U.S. 62, and the NRHP nomination cites them as an example of early auto-era lodging. Today five garden cottages each have a two-person jetted tub and gas fireplace. The trolley stops at the corner.
