The story

Built in 1881 as the Piedmont Hotel, a two-story frame boarding house, it is cited in the NRHP nomination as representative of the town’s earliest lodging built for visitors. Its generous two-story porches are typical of early Eureka Springs lodging. Formerly Piedmont House, it now trades as The Piedmont on Spring, with suites that each have a private entrance, private bath and dedicated parking.
