The story

The inn began in the early 1990s as a single restoration project on Jarves Street in Sandwich Village and grew into an ensemble of repurposed historic buildings. Its buildings include a converted church known as the Abbey, where the Belfry Bistro serves breakfast, a Painted Lady Victorian, and the 1827 Village Inn. MACRIS records 8 Jarves Street as the George P. Drew House, built in 1880 and later the church rectory, and the 1901 Corpus Christi Church next door.
