The story

The NRHP nomination records the 1879 Pierce House and the 1886 Roberts House II, home of DeWitt Roberts, which gained a two-story bay window designed by Morris Stuckert in 1890. The district is a surviving block of homes built for middle-class business and professional families near downtown. The inn opened in the two houses in 1987 and calls itself Denver’s first urban bed and breakfast. Several rooms are decorated by local artists.
