The story

W.E. Adams opened his grocery here in January 1895 in a two-story building, then added a neighboring three-story building in 1897 and fourth floors in 1909. He turned to wholesale trade in 1901. The block was restored in 2022 as a casino, and a hotel followed. The hotel says the Adams Block itself was transformed into the hotel and casino.
