The story

Civilian Conservation Corps crews built the log cabins in White Pines Forest State Park during the Great Depression, and the lodge and cabins were listed on the National Register in 1985. Twenty-one log cabins, arranged like a pioneer village, still house overnight guests. The log lodge holds a restaurant and the Pines Dinner Theater, founded in 1989.
