The story
The Double Arrow began as a cattle ranch and later ran as a dude ranch; the resort names Jan Boissevain and George Wiesel as its original owners. The log lodge went up over the winter of 1929-30. Its Great Hall centers on a large cobblestone fireplace. Small cabins were skidded up from an old stage station by draft horses in 1930. It now anchors a resort with a golf course and ten guest cabins and lodges.
