The story
The house was built in 1924 for the Sigma Sigma Delta Chi fraternity, a block west of Welch Avenue in Ames’ Campustown. A 2007–2008 renovation turned it into a 15-room inn. The former fraternity Chapter Room on the lower floor is now a guest lounge.
