The story
The twelve-story Missouri Theatre Building went up in 1920 as offices next to the Missouri Theatre, which opened in 1921 and has since been demolished; the offices drew Midtown’s growing medical practices. After years vacant, it reopened in 2018 as the Angad Arts Hotel, whose rooms are themed by color to match guests’ moods. In March 2025 it joined Hilton’s Tapestry Collection.
