The story
The Clyde Hotel opened in 1912 on what was then SW Stark Street (renamed Harvey Milk Street in 2018). It became the Ben Stark Hotel in 1987, and Gus Van Sant filmed Drugstore Cowboy (1989) there. It joined the Ace Hotel group in 2005, and in June 2024 its owners left Ace and relaunched it with Kasa under its original name.
