The story
The Olympic Club opened in 1908 and got an opulent remodel in 1913 whose mahogany bar, leaded-glass canopies and stenciled walls survive. Train robber Roy Gardner was captured there in 1921. McMenamins runs it as a pub, theater and 27-room hotel with shared bathrooms.
