The story
The Bishop Block went up in 1890 during Port Townsend’s boom and has led many lives, including the Owl Cigar Co. around 1900 and a rooming house during World War II. As the Bishop Victorian it became a suite hotel; Eric Wennberg and Jessica Jennings bought it in 2020, renamed it the Bishop Hotel and added the Bishop Block Bottle Shop wine bar.
