The story
The building was put up in 1909-1910 for Seattle attorney Scott Calhoun as the 152-room Calhoun Hotel, designed by architect William P. White. It later served as the Palladian Apartments, the name under which Seattle designated it a city landmark. Kimpton reopened it as a hotel, the Kimpton Palladian.
