The story

The Quaker Inn was built around 1875 in the heart of Ocean Grove’s National Historic District, two blocks from the beach and boardwalk. A Tichnor postcard in the Boston Public Library collection shows it as a ‘hotel, restaurant & soda fountain’ at the corner of Main and Central Avenues. Today it has 28 rooms on three floors and five open porches.
