The story
Henry Walker Hand, of a prominent Cape May Island family, built the Queen Anne house with its two-story octagonal tower in 1893. Marion Taylor ran a hair salon in it and first turned it into a B&B, the Plum Palace; Jay and Mary Ann Gorrick bought it in 2000 and renamed it the Inn at the Park after the Kiwanis park behind it. Carl and Susan Spatocco, owners of local food shops, bought it in 2016 and kept it as a six-room B&B.
