The story
Local developer Peter McCollum built the house in 1872 as a summer cottage for a prominent Philadelphia milliner; a Colonial Revival porch was added around 1900. Innkeepers John and Lisa Matusiak run it as a nine-room B&B named for the Roman god of wine, with a Victorian parlor, a large dining room and an enclosed porch. The B&B now operates only at the 719 Columbia Avenue house and opens in spring, summer and fall.
