The story
Unlike most Cape May inns, the Mooring was designed as a guest house, which shows in its wide halls and stairs and twelve-foot ceilings. It calls itself Cape May Island’s original guest house, hosting guests since 1882. Leslie and Vince restored and ran it from 1993; in April 2021 it sold to Rhythm of the Sea owners Amy Kao and Lu Rexhepi, who continue it as a B&B.
