The story
Henry Brady, who owned the mule teams that pulled barges through the canal, built the house in 1870, a gift to his family after the birth of a son. The inn calls it the best example of Victorian Gothic style in Chesapeake City. It became Cecil County’s first bed and breakfast in 1987, and Sarah and Ed O’Hara are its fourth owners.
