The story
St. Paul architect Clarence Johnston designed the house for J.A. Gregg and his wife; the inn says it was the first home in Ramsey Hill built with steel-beam construction. It stands in the Ramsey Hill section of the Historic Hill District, listed on the National Register in 1976. Today it is a small bed and breakfast within walking distance of Selby Avenue and the Grand Avenue shops.
