The story
Minneapolis architects McEnary and Krafft designed the Kasota-limestone banking house, which opened in 1942 at Sixth Street and Marquette Avenue; sculptor Warren T. Mosman designed the reliefs of a farmer and a mechanic that flank the entrance. An eleven-story tower was added in 1963. The building was listed on the National Register in 2006 and is now a Westin: the teak-paneled banking hall is the Stock & Bond restaurant, and the guest rooms are in the 1963 tower.
