Historic Inns is free to use. To pay for the research, some links on this site are affiliate links: if you click one and book, the booking site may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra.

Links labeled “Book direct” go straight to the inn’s own website and do not earn us anything. We include them because booking direct is often the best way to get the room you want in an old building, where rooms differ a lot.

Some pages also show tours and activities from GetYourGuide. If you book one through those links, GetYourGuide pays us a commission at no extra cost to you. The tours are sold by GetYourGuide and run by local operators; the ratings and prices you see are GetYourGuide’s, not ours. We pick tours that fit the history of the place, and commissions never decide which inns we list.
