The story
The Atlantic sits on six acres on the hill just above town, about a seven-minute walk from the ferry, with views over the Atlantic. The National Register nomination lists it as the Atlantic (or Norwich) Hotel of about 1880, one of the Victorian hotels built during Old Harbor’s resort boom. New owners have added air conditioning and are renovating the lobby, restaurant and its 23 rooms and suites.
