The story
The Chadwick occupies the George H. Morey House, a frame Queen Anne house built in 1891 on Chadwick Street in Portland’s West End. It is one of the houses inventoried in the 1984 Western Promenade Historic District nomination. Today it is a four-room bed and breakfast with all guest rooms on the second floor.
