The story

The collection joins two West End houses a block apart. The Pine Street house is a brick Mansard townhouse in a row the Western Promenade nomination dates to 1870; the inn says its first owner was stove dealer Freedom Nash and that it stayed a private home until it became a bed and breakfast in 1984. The Neal Street house, dated 1884 in the nomination, operated as the Pomegranate Inn from 1989 for 37 years and reopened in 2026 as The West End Collection on Neal after a renovation. Neal Street is now the collection’s hub, where the cooked-to-order breakfast is served.
